Holiday schedule changes

When a holiday falls in your collection week, there is no pickup on the holiday and every remaining day that week shifts forward by 1 day. Friday collection moves to Saturday. Austin observes 3 collection-affecting holidays, which is not the same list as the federal calendar. A holiday landing on a Saturday or Sunday does not move your collection day at all. Bulk and large item pickup in Austin

Austin collects bulk items and brush by appointment only, up to three of each a year. There is no scheduled bulk day for your address, and items set out without an appointment are not collected.
