Charlotte, NC

Trash pickup schedule

There is no single day. Charlotte collection days follow the collection route, not the neighborhood, and two houses on the same street can differ when a route boundary runs between them. Your house number decides it.

Just the street address. We add Charlotte for you, and we do not store it.

About collection in Charlotte

Charlotte collection schedule

Charlotte collects organics and trash every week and recycling every other week.

Holiday schedule changes

Some holidays push Charlotte collection later in the week, some pull it earlier, and some do not move it at all. The dates here follow the city's own table. Charlotte observes 5 collection-affecting holidays, which is not the same list as the federal calendar. A holiday landing on a Saturday or Sunday does not move your collection day at all. Checked against the city's own published schedule on September 4, 2026. Charlotte publishes a dated table that runs to the end of 2026, and that is what we use for this year. After it we apply the pattern it shows: a holiday moves its own day by one and leaves the rest of the week alone. The city's table also moves the Friday after Thanksgiving, which that pattern cannot express, so from 2027 check the city's calendar for that one week.

Charlotte recycling schedule

Charlotte collects recycling every other week, so which week you are on matters. Your address shows it.
