Furniture and other bulky household items
Within the 2 cubic yard weekly cap; each item or bundle under 50 pounds.

Put it out, but get it ready first5

Refrigerators and freezers
Counts toward the 2 cubic yard weekly cap. One containing Freon needs a certificate showing the Freon was properly removed.

Panels cut into 4x6 foot sections, or loose pickets under 4 feet and bundled. All exposed nails and staples removed first.
Carpet
Rolled and bundled, under 4 feet.
Brush, tree and hedge trimmings
Under 6 inches in diameter, cut to 4 feet or less, bundled and stacked under 3 feet high with the larger ends toward the street. Each bundle under 50 pounds and under 1 cubic yard - its own separate 2 cubic yard weekly cap from bulky waste.
Leaves, vines and thorny bushes
Must be bagged.

Not this collection. Here is what does take it2

Grass clippings
Not collected curbside at all, by design - the city backs the Texas Agricultural Extension Service's Don't Bag It program. Mow or compost it, or take un-bagged grass and leaves to the landfill free.Arlington Landfill800 Mosier Valley Road, Euless, TX 76040817-354-2300Free or discounted visits for residents.
Bulky waste or brush over the weekly cap
Book a paid special collection with Republic Services (817-317-2000), or self-haul to the landfill. Anything left at the curb past 24 hours over the cap gets removed by the city and billed on the next water bill.Arlington Landfill

What Arlington does not say

Arlington publishes no answer for a category-by-category accepted/refused list the way some other cities here publish - this page states size, weight and volume limits rather than naming specific refused items. Ask them directly if it matters to you.
