Arlington observes 4 collection-affecting holidays, which is not the same list as the federal calendar. Checked against the city's own published schedule on September 25, 2026. The page's own intro line says "there are five holidays during the year where your collection day may be impacted," then names and dates exactly four: New Year's Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. No fifth holiday is named anywhere on the page - recorded as four rather than guessed at a fifth.
